What do you have to bring?
Clothing:
Sturdy and comfortable hiking boots, a few changes of clothes for the varying temperatures, a hat, a warm inner jacket, outer jacket, waterproofs are essential, comfortable shoes/slippers for camp/guesthouse.
Other items to bring:
Small First Aid kit, a hiking stick or two, sleeping bag, a day pack (small rucksack), head torch, other medication, sun glasses.
On the popular trekking routes, everyday supplies such as:
Drinks, chocolate, toilet paper, soap.
For wintertime treks involving mountaineering, crampons and ice axes can be required, and they are easily obtainable in Imlil (can be hired).
What is included in the price?
Transfer from hotel or road in Marrakech at the start and transfer back to Marrakech at the end of the trek, experienced and qualified English-, French-, Spanish-, German-speaking mountain guide.
Accommodation on the trek, cook, muleteers, mules for carrying your heavy luggage i.e holdall and rucksack is necessary; you will carry only a day pack.
What is not included in the price?
Travel insurance, accommodation in Marrakech, (but we can organize this for you), personal gear (sleeping bags and walking boots), ski equipment (winter treks), but this can be hired, personal purchases, tips (very common to tip porters, drivers, waiters etc. in Morocco).
